ABOUT THE EVENT:
Pitch Pit is a thrilling event that allows aspiring entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and
gain valuable feedback from experienced investors and business experts. It is an excellent
opportunity for entrepreneurs to network and gain exposure for their ideas, as well as a
chance for investors to discover promising new businesses and potential investments. With
their experience and your creativity, there's no telling how far you can go. So, what are you
waiting for? Take the plunge and pitch your way to success!


EVENT DETAILS:


ROUND 1: POSTER PITCHING
• A time limit of 60 minutes will be given to prepare the technical poster on the day of
the event
• Technical poster of the idea needs to be submitted within the given time limit
• Top 14 of the on boarded teams will be selected for Round 2
• Only one-page posters are allowed of dimensions 1m x 1m
• Posters must not contain any names of the team members or college names or any
other forms of identification of the team or its members which otherwise would lead
to immediate disqualification


ROUND 2: BETA RELEASE OF THE IDEA
• A 2 min video of the idea needs to be submitted. (Quality of the video should good
enough to judge). Video can be a maximum of 2 minute and 30 seconds
• Video needs to be submitted within 2 hours of the announcement of the result of the
first round in MP4 format through a pen drive to the organizers
• The video should be ready prior to the event (participants must keep the video ready
even before the 1st round whether they are shortlisted for the 2nd round or not)
• Softcopy of the posters and video will be uploaded on an Instagram page
• Top 7 teams will be shortlisted for Round 3 based on Instagram likes and decision
marks by the jury with a 50-50 ratio respectively. In case of two teams with same
aggregate points arises, then the team with the most points from judges will be given
merit
ROUND 3: IDEA PRESSENTATION
• Technical pitch along with PPT presentation (8 min presentation + 4 min Q&A) must
be made to the Jury
• No existing products/ companies or any other resources are to be promoted during
the presentation otherwise which would lead to disqualification
• PPTs must not contain any names of the team members or college names or any
other forms of identification of the team or its members which otherwise would lead
to immediate disqualification. The first slide must contain only the idea/product name
• PPTs are to be submitted to the organizers one hour before the event begins
• Only one member will be allowed to present. The other two may be present on the
dais and may help with slide changes but must compulsorily be present for Q&A
session. No presenter must strictly orally identify themselves
• Top 2 winners will be announced


RULES AND REGULATIONS:
• On-spot registration will be open till one hour before the event starts
• Idea needs to be technically related in the field of Engineering
• Team must be of 3 members
• Each team will be identified by the unique identification numbers given by the
organizers on the day of the event.
• Plagiarized content in any form will result in immediate disqualifications
• Judge’s decisions are final
